SOCCER!

So, this is Sam's first year of soccer and he is doing so well. They had their first games on Saturday. Nima's was at 8am so I wasn't quite awake and forgot the camera. Sam's was at 12noon and it was so hot. I felt so bad for those little kids running in such heat but they toughed it out. I'm so proud of Sam, #4.

BACK TO SCHOOL

Last week was the boy's first day of school, Sam's first day of Kindergarten. They both did so good that I almost broke the bank by taking them all (girls too) to the store to pick out a toy. Two down, two more to go.

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

So, I really wish there was just a reality show for Keleni so people could just see what I have to deal with on a daily basis. She is far harder than the 3 other kids combined, what happened? She used to be so easy and mellow when she was little and then she learned to walk and talk. Right now the hardest thing is that she changes her clothes about every half hour which amounts to her dresser drawers being emptied onto the floor. Also she climbs out of her crib and will not stay in her "big girl bed." I will be sitting on the couch and then all of the sudden I see a flash of hair and jammies speed by along with the pitter patter of her little feet. She is very difficult but I love her little personality. She is going to be a delight as a teenager...I can already tell.

THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH

So, we have passes to Disneyland and we decided to get one last trip in before school started. It was super hot that day but it worked to our advantage since we never waited more than 10 minutes for a ride. Most of them we walked right on to. Plus we got to meet some cute characters!

Chargers!!!

This was all of our first Live Football game ever and it was so much fun. We had horrible seats, the parking was crazy, traffic was worse but I think the whole atmosphere is what made it great! There were fireworks (which made Keleni freak out, seriously, I have never seen her so scared she didn't uncover her face the entire game) The kids keep asking to go to another game, I haven't had the heart to tell them that Mommy and Daddy are going by themselves next time, but at least they get to stay with Grandma & Grandpa!

Newbold Family Reunion

So, this is my first post, I'm super excited but I'm on my mom's computer since it is very hot at our house so my pictures are very limited. I thought I would start with our latest adventure. This was at Mount Whitney in Lone Pine, CA. It is about 5 hours north which isn't that bad when you have a DVD player and lots of snacks. We met up with the rest of the Newbold Family for some reunion fun. We slept in Bunkbeds which the kids LOVED, Hauati caught 2 fish and Nima caught 1. Overall it was a blast, tons of food, Arrested Development, noise, and not very much sleep. Now we just all need to agree on where the next one will be, I vote Hawaii!!!
